RE:GENESIS: RESCUED BY FAITH (GENESIS 7:1-24)
Genesis 7 reminds us that our God is the One who holds us fast. His protection is certain—He called Noah and his family into the ark before a single drop of judgment fell. Noah obeyed by faith, building and preparing for a flood he had never seen, and that faith opened the door to God’s protection. His judgment is sure—when the time came, the rain fell exactly as He said. Noah had worked a hundred years, then waited seven silent days before the skies broke. That’s endurance: obedience that doesn’t quit in the waiting but holds on until God shows up. And His preservation is grace—Noah and his family were sustained through the storm, not by their strength but by God’s mercy. For us, that grace means eternal security in Christ. And Noah shows us that obedience leaves a legacy—not of perfection, but of direction, pointing future generations to God.
