We plant seeds, and God brings the growth. As a Christ‑centered preschool serving little ones from age 2 through Pre‑K, we partner with families and our church community to nurture hearts and minds through play‑based learning, Scripture‑infused curriculum, and loving relationships. Our small class sizes, caring teachers, and clear communication, create a warm, joyful environment where every child feels seen, valued, and encouraged to explore God’s world.

Meet our interim Director - Kayla Brown

Kayla brings both heart and structure to everything she leads. As a wife and mom of three, she understands the importance of creating environments where kids feel safe, loved, and set up to grow. Kayla is known for being hardworking, loyal, calm, and resilient, with a steady presence that both kids and staff depend on. She has a natural ability to build systems that work while also investing deeply in people—helping shape not just what happens in the classroom, but what sticks in the lives of those she leads. She cares deeply about people, leads with integrity and intentionality, and her faith in Christ influences how she leads, serves, and supports others each day. She’s usually  juggling details, solving problems, and keeping everything moving—with a calm presence… thanks to prayer and her iced coffee.

What We Offer

Programs

•Toddler Care (Age 2): A half‑day or full‑day schedule nurturing the youngest learners through gentle routines, sensory play, and loving relationships.

•Preschool Program (Ages 3–4): A half‑day or full‑day schedule rich in guided play, art exploration, and early pre‑reading skills.

•Pre‑K Readiness (Ages 4 1⁄2–5): A half‑day or full‑day schedule of intentional literacy and numeracy activities, hands-on science, and social‑emotional lessons to prepare children for kindergarten.

•Summer Enrichment & Camp: A full‑day schedule with a fun, faith‑filled wraparound experience featuring water play, nature walks, team challenges, and daily story times.

Curriculum & Learning

•Play‑Based Exploration: Child‑centered activities that spark curiosity, creativity, and problem‑solving.

•Scripture Integration: Bible stories, worship moments, and memory verses woven into every subject area.

•STEAM & Sensory Stations: Hands‑on science, technology, engineering, art, and math experiences adapted for little hands.

•Social‑Emotional Growth: Cooperative games, conflict‑resolution coaching, and circle‑time discussions to build kindness, empathy, and self‑regulation.

•Outdoor Discovery: Daily opportunities to explore God’s creation on our secure playground and nature trail.

Staff Development & Support

  • Christ‑Centered Educators: Melissa Gaghen, our curriculum support specialist, holds an education degree and works daily with each class to craft engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans. She shares a passion for discipleship, as do all our teachers. We provide ongoing professional development through the Missouri Department of Education and other courses to ensure every teacher has the support they need.

  • Ongoing Professional Growth: We cover 100% of PD class costs and host bi‑monthly workshops on best practices in early childhood education.

  • Regular Coaching: Each teacher meets one‑on‑one with the Director for feedback, goal setting, and prayer support.

  • Transparent Communication: Families stay informed through the REMIND app, daily reports, and monthly newsletters.
