What is Encore?
Those who are part of the “Baby Boomer” generation make up around 50% of the US population. In the days of their youth, Boomers were once considered the rebellious generation. But today’s Boomers are generally considered pillars in our society, providing a sense of stability and responsibility learned from real life experiences.
At Fieldview Church our “seniors” are called to something greater. Our “50 plus” members of our church are ready for their ENCORE! This is not our last act of service and worship. No, we feel we are in our prime. Primed to provide deeper relationship connections. Primed to experience more of the truth of God’s Word.
Our mission is to build up our community “Boomers” to actively serve in the field following our church's mission. Yes, many in our group already serve at church in multiple areas. But they are not alone. Through monthly gatherings, special events, serving together and more, our prayer is that individuals will meet new people and deepen relationships.
