RE:GENESIS: RESCUED TO BLESS (GENESIS 9:1-29)
Oct 19, 2025 • Greg McGhee
In Genesis 9, God establishes a covenant of grace after the storm, promising never again to destroy the earth by flood. This ReGenesis moment mirrors creation—life begins anew, yet sin still lingers. Humanity is recommissioned, but corruption reemerges through Noah’s failure, reminding us that the flood could cleanse the earth but not the heart. Still, God’s covenant stands. His rainbow after the rain points us to Christ, whose cross secures peace after judgment. Even when storms return, His promises remain unbroken. The God who hung His bow in the sky still hangs His mercy over every believer today.
