EQUIPPED: TO PRAY FIRST

PRAY FIRST (Matthew 6:25–34) calls us to make prayer our first response, not our last resort. Jesus tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, which means putting His reign above our worries, His priorities above our pursuits, and His promises above our fears. We’ll see that “these things” — the basic needs of life — are in God’s hands, freeing us from the anxiety that pulls us away from Him. This sermon will challenge our people to start with God’s agenda, trust His provision, and live each day confident that His grace is always enough.
