CONNECTING FIELDVIEW - Room For Improvement - 2 Chronicles 24:4-14
Main Idea: Churches have seasons. Good ones and bad ones. By God’s grace, I believe that we are in an amazing season as a church, but it wasn’t always that way. It would be easy to get mad and point fingers..and we could, because there have been failures along the way long before I got here. Some of those failures at least contributed to why we are here today launching a series built around a need for us as a church to come together and contribute financially to this project. Maybe at some point in your life, you bought a house or a car or something else that you then had to turn around and do maintenance on that had been deferred by the previous owner. But in this situation, we don’t look at it that way. This is our high privilege to give to God our offering of sacrifice for the good of his kingdom. God gets more glory when His church is healthy! And we get to be a part of making that happen, and we aren’t the first to get to do it. Today we are going to dive into a story that maybe you haven’t heard about a king and a people cleaning up with joy a mess that they didn’t make.
